Technology                                                                       Home

Technological advancement is not new to Medicine, but just as faster more comprehensive computational ability has transformed the business and financial worlds, it is transforming Medicine.  Many of the benefits (just-in-time production) and pitfalls (inadequately controlled or nonsensical stock trading)  apply almost directly to the problems of healthcare.  Clinicians, unfamiliar with the language let alone the implications of these technologies, can easily be lost in the process.  Assuring they are given adequate opportunity to learn is key to success.    Business, Government & Healthcare
